Moved Servers

We have moved our servers to paid hosting. Mensa India and the Database are hosted on the paid server.
As a result of this change the URL for the database is now http://indianmensa.org/db/

Please update all bookmarks. Also note that sites using services may take some time to make the required changes to their systems so you may experience trouble for about a week when using your database login and pass on other sites.

Also as a direct result of the server change, the database is no longer a sub-domain so we do have to make minor modifications. If you find images not being displayed properly or javascripts not functioning it is a direct result of this change. Please report these bugs to bugs@db.mensamumbai.org

Services sub-project launched with Auth Services.
The Mensa Database services sub-project has been launched. The aim of this project is to provide an interface to database, outside the database project.
The first project is the Auth Services project which allows for any remote site to authenticate mensa members using the mensa username and password.

Mensa Database Member User Interface
This new feature allows members to login and modify their own personal details (address, phone no etc.). The system is password protected (for obvious reasons) and to get your password follow the instructions on the Forgot your Password page. Once you have your password you can log-in using the Member Login page.

Validation Issue Resolved.

It was brought to my attention that there was a problem entering and editing data in string fields. This problem has been resolved and was because I forgot to put a break statement! Sorry for the trouble. The database should now be properly functional.
